Kaye Bohler celebrates her 50th birthday by launching the first (Winter) Festival of the Blues in Santa Cruz at the iconic Cocoanut Grove Ballroom above the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. As if this landmark 40's era venue isn't special enough, with it's 3-tiered stage and beautiful Monterey Bay views. Four acts will also be taking the stage in celebration of American Roots Music. Kaye Bohler brings her 9-piece band and International Blues Man Chris Cain will be closing the show. Multi-platinum, grammy award winning legendary Guitarist Pete Anderson (producer/guitarist to Dwight Yoakam of 20 years) brings his band from LA. and the opening act is Laurie Morvan from Southern Califoria. This event should prove to be an intimate festival in a classic timeless concert venue. |
